BARROW AFC have ‘frozen’ prices for the Brentford game at Holker Street to the 2006 Bristol Rovers FA Cup tie level.
They are grandstand adults £15; concessions and juniors £10; terraces adults £12; concessions and juniors £8 – with the ground capacity set at 4,256.
Although not an all-ticket game, the board have decided to make the televised second round match on Friday, November 28, a ticket match.
AFC football secretary Russell Dodd said:ys this is to try and avoid potential crowd flow issues at the turnstiles on the night. He states: “We have decided to make it a ticket match to allow for advance sales prior to the evening of the game. and fans are encouraged to buy their tickets in advance.
“If tickets are still available on the night of the game, fans will be able to just turn up on the evening and pay.”
“I really can't wait, it makes your hairs stand out on the back of your neck when you walk out to a packed Holker Street. I can see the gate beating the Oxford one (2,790) comfortably.“I still have to pinch myself to where we were a year ago and now in the space of six months we will have been live on TV three times and staged several 2,000-plus crowds. “It's a great reward for all the hard work everyone connected with the club puts in day in day out.”
l Barrow were hoping to put the tickets on sale to season ticket holders and members on Sunday and to the general public from Monday.
