Remembrance 2008
HUNDREDS of people turned out at Barrow’s Remembrance Day service to mark the 90th anniversary of Armistice Day.
The poignant service, led by the Reverand Jane Nattrass, began with a parade from the town hall to Barrow Park.
Those gathered at the cenotaph also paid tribute to three local soldiers who recently lost their lives.
